NEXT WOOD 2 – TRENDS IN WOOD COATING
The second edition of the technical meeting aimed at discussing the current problems and future prospects of the wood coating sector. We will especially focus on the following issue:
The coating and plant manufacturers’ response to the challenges posed by the advances of lining materials (papers, laminates, and polymer films) in the furniture industry.
Organised on the occasion of the 27th edition of Xylexpo, the biennial world exhibition for woodworking technologies and components for the furniture industry, this event will be held at the Xylexpo Arena of Fieramilano-Rho (DATE TO BE DETERMINED) and it will take place in two consecutive sessions of 90 minutes each. These will be devoted to as follows:
- coating products
- surface finishing plants
Each session will start with an “open” round table discussion in which four speakers will have 10 minutes each to explain their points and answer any questions.
Two max. 15 minute-long presentations will follow. These will be chosen by a scientific committee among those presented in response to this call to abstracts.
